Hong Kong, what an insane city. The giant lego like structures which make up this dense metropolis sit amongst each other on a combination of leveled grounds and steep mountain terrains, all stacked stringently vertical in competition for the skies. All the roads and highways overlap snaking into each other. Hong Kong is like a giant cake where someone has slathered a thick coat of concrete icing over the top with a generous sprinkle of super giant residential high rises. Clutters of super residential estates with a minimum of 30 levels are decorated with million of small tiles on the exterior. Every direction is a constant wall of buildings with the exception of tiny gaps between each high rise where you can get a glimpse of what is beyond the concrete curtains. But move out of the city centre's and you will probably experience some of the nicest nature walks Hong Kong has to offer.
