On 17th of November 2011 activists from the London Occupy Movement occupied a third space, a massive abandoned office building in the middle of London belonging to a major European investment bank. Renaming the office building to the Bank of Ideas it was opened to the public again after laying unused and empty for several years. Bank of Ideas has been turned into a kind of community centre where anyone can come in for free meals or join lectures, workshops or classes put on for free by professionals from a wide range of industries and disciplines. Activists from the movement said the "space will be available for those that have lost their nurseries, community centres and youth clubs due to Government spending cuts". A member from the YMY team has been holding photography workshops at the Bank of Ideas for the last month, and in the process documenting the office space. During these workshops strong emphasis was put on using photography not only as a tool for taking just pictures, but a tool to start dialogues and connect with other people, using it to benefit the wider community.
